FEMTO-LASIK: Augenlasern mit moderner Lasertechnologie revolutioniert die Behandlungssicherheit bei Behebung der Fehlsichtigkeiten. Bei vielen alltäglichen Aktivitäten, ob beim Sport oder im Beruf ist die Brille hinderlich. Kontaktlinsen werden nicht von allen vertragen und beanspruchen täglich kostbare Zeit. Ein Abschied von der Brille und den Kontaktlinsen ist dank modernster Methoden einer Augen-Laseroperation möglich.
Welche Fehlsichtigkeiten können durch eine Augenlaser-Operation behandelt werden?
Je nach Höhe des Sehfehlers und der anatomischen Gegebenheiten kann der Augenlaser bei folgenden Fehlsichtigkeiten eingesetzt werden:
Kurzsichtigkeit (Myopie): bis -10 Dioptrien (dpt)
Weitsichtigkeit (Hyperopie): bis +4 dpt
Hornhautverkruemmung (Astigmatismus): bis 5 dpt
Alterssichtigkeit (Presbyopie): nach besonderer Abklärung
Bei all diesen Werten handelt es sich allerdings nur um Richtwerte. Ob eine Operation erfolgsversprechend ist, muss im Einzelfall abgeklärt werden. Dabei steht die Sicherheit des Patienten immer im Vordergrund.

Welche Methode wird bei der Laseroperation verwendet?
Als fortschrittlichste Behandlungsmethode gilt die
FEMTO-LASIK, die auch all-Laser-Operation genannt wird.
Dabei wird ein hochpräziser Laser verwendet: mit dem Femtosekunden-Laser wird die Hornhautschicht über dem Auge abgehoben (Hornhaut-Lamellen-Erzeugung), mit dem Excimer-Laser wird die Fehlsichtigkeit behandelt (Modulierung der Hornhaut-Innenschicht). Bei kurzsichtigen Patienten wird dabei die Hornhaut abgeflacht, bei weitsichtigen Patienten wird diese in der Mitte erhöht.
Diese Augenlaserbehandlung gehört heutzutage in der refraktiven Chirurgie (Sammelbegriff für Operationen zur Behebung von Fehlsichtigkeiten) zu den sichersten und komplikationsärmsten Eingriffen der Sehfehlerkorrektur.
Wie lange dauert das Lasern der Augen?
Die Augenlaser-Operation dauert rund 10 Minuten, ist fast schmerzfrei und zeichnet sich durch eine rasche Sehverbesserung aus. Alle Eingriffe werden ambulant und unter Tropfbetäubung durchgeführt. Die meisten Patienten erleben die Brillen-, Kontaktlinsenfreiheit bereits wenige Stunden nach dem Augenlasern.
Augenlaser-Operationen bei EyeLaser in Wien

DocFinder UserNew lease of life!I “only” wanted to have my eyes lasered to get away from glasses, but then I was diagnosed with cataracts. It was a shock for me, but Dr Derhartunian calmed me down and gave me great information about the situation. After 50 minutes, everything was done. I had new lenses implanted, which corrected my prescription. 2nd check-up after one week: visual performance 150 %!!!!!
